What causes the problem of dropped frames in industrial cameras?
Drop frame performance:
(1) In camera preview mode, images cannot be transmitted at full frame speed
(2) In the trigger photography mode, the number of images transmitted by the camera is less than the number of triggers (the trigger frequency should be less than the frame rate)
(3) The number of images processed by the image processing software is less than expected
Possible reasons for corresponding dropped frames:
(A) dropped frames in preview or trigger mode
① System firewall is not turned off; antivirus software intercepts
The network environment is a non-gigabit network (check the network port speed)
The network card does not enable jumbo frames
● If the problem persists after confirming the above
① Re-determine whether to drop frames for the camera
② Check camera parameter settings (transmission packet size / buffer size, etc.)
(B) image processing software problems
① software processing speed
② SDK interface parameter settings are unreasonable
