Field of view and measurement accuracy, how to choose a camera and industrial lens?
When selecting a camera:(1) Camera classification: area scan / line scan, black and white / color, board level, 3D, etc.
(2) Determine the resolution required by the camera according to the accuracy (single pixel accuracy = field of view width / camera resolution width)
(3) Determine the camera transmission interface based on the PC interface
(4) Determine the camera frame rate based on the detection speed
(5) Determine the shutter mode based on the product's movement speed when taking photos
(6) Determine black and white / color / infrared based on the content of inspection
(VII) Other parameters: sensor type / minimum exposure time (flying shot) / digital IO / signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range, etc.
(Eight) target surface size: generally with the choice of lens, generally speaking, the larger the target surface, the higher the imaging quality
· 1 inch = 16mm
When selecting a lens:
(I) lens classification: ordinary lens, telecentric lens, macro lens, zoom lens, surround view lens, infrared lens, etc.
(2) Determine the focal length of the lens according to the working distance and field of view width, and the horizontal resolution and pixel size of the camera
(3) Determine the required resolution of the lens according to the camera resolution
(4) Determine the lens type according to the depth of field (telecentric / normal)
